Institute: Favorite fashion designer?
Joshua: I must admit, I love Calvin Klein. Probably since I was 12. Simplicity is timeless and everlasting. I’m also a huge Herb Ritts fan, and he shot some of CK’s greatest campaign’s.

Institute: Favorite City?
Joshua: Has to be NYC. I first found myself there by chance when I was 17. I will finally be moving there later this year after 16 years.

Institute: Favorite Hotel?
Joshua: I actually don’t have one. When I travel I use airbnb.com. I always sublet places that I can incorporate photo shoots into.

Institute: Favorite Restaurant?
Joshua: Balthazar,  Perth, hands down.

Institute: Signature Scent?
Joshua: Terre d`Hermes

Institute: Style Icon?
Joshua: I guess it’s more of an area than a person. I love the 50’s, always have. I guess Ryan Gosling is really rocking that look, the apparent inventor of the gentrosexual haha.

Institute: Home Is?
Joshua: Perth, soon to be NewYork city.

Institute: I Love
Joshua: Seeing ideas that I have been cultivating for years come to life.

Institute: I Hate
Joshua: Nothing.

Institute: Latest Purchase?
Joshua: Distressed Leather Harness boots.

Institute: Currently Listening to?
Joshua: M83 and led Zepplin.

Institute: You can never have too many?
Joshua: Ideas!!!

Institute: Beauty Essential?
Joshua: I think for me, purely on a physical level, eyes. Thats what hooks you, well me at least. Transparency in someone is exceptionally beautiful.

Institute: Favorite website?
Joshua: Imdb I would have to say. I’m a huge film buff and I draw all my inspiration from films.

Institute: Favorite person to work with?
Joshua: To date, my stylist and friend, Belinda Brenton.

Institute: Where do you think trends are created?
Joshua: Trends come from people who are creative and are able to get those ideas out into the world. Trends are essentially an idea.

Institute: Highlight of your career to date?
Joshua: Managing a Boutique Production House in Dubai I was able to with Cartier. An amazing experience.

Institute: Favorite fashion designer?
Belinda: I really love Sarah from Monster Alphabet’s work. Sarah is a Perth local who studied architecture, and fashion in Tokyo. Sarah’s work is really wearable art. I’m heavily drawn to Japanese and New Zealand Designers. My favourites would be Zambesi, Nom*d, Yohji Yamamoto, Yang Li and Alexander McQueen.

Institute: Favorite City?
Belinda: Biarritz. Its just the right mix of France  South West of Australia. I had a really amazing experience there.

Institute: Favorite Hotel?
Belinda: The West Lewis Hilton.

Institute: Favorite Restaurant?
Belinda: Solomon’s, Nobu, The Raw Kitchen. Anywhere serving vegan, Japanese or French cuisine.

Institute: Signature Scent?
Belinda: A little obsessed with scent and yet to settle on one. However, some of my favourites are Armani Pirve Rose D’Arabie, Stella McCartney, Chanel Noir and Paloma Picasso.

Institute: Style Icon?
Belinda: My whole approach to style revolves around developing your own style. I encourage my clients to be able to appreciate and express all forms of creativity through their exterior appearance.

Institute: Home Is?
Belinda: I work from a space in Nedlands, Western Australia. But home in the sense of childhood memories is in the north of Western Australia, on the coast. At the end of my family home is endless red dirt and spinifex. That feels like home.

Institute: I Love
Belinda: My red nose, rescue dog named Darcy.

Institute: I Hate
Belinda: Cold showers.

Institute: Latest Purchase?
Belinda: Black Marsell boots from Dilettante.net. The Italian leather is pure comfort.
Institute: Currently Listening to?
My two friends Lilly and Josh bickering over the details of our next dinner party.

Institute: You can never have too many?
Belinda: Good friends.

Institute: Beauty Essential?
Belinda: Emma and Natalie Clarke. No relation to each other these two ladies look after everything beauty related from the top of my head to my nails. They just happen to be really good at what they do.

Institute: Beauty tip?
Belinda: Hydrate. Beautiful makeup stands no chance if your skin isn’t adequately prepped.

Belinda: Style.com

Institute: Favorite person to work with?
Belinda: I work with many fantastic people but anyone who is efficient and passionate.

Institute: Where do you think trends are created?
Belinda: In small groups of like minded people.

Institute: Highlight of your career to date?
Belinda: Creating a business that I actually love. Any day spent in Style Development with my private clients I am overwhelmed with reassurances of why it is I work in this industry.
