Institute: How did your career in photography begin?

I started diving into photography my senior year for an art competition and fell in love with it all over again. I’ve been perfecting my craft ever since then.

Institute: Who did you aspire to growing up?

Growing up I was always really inspired by Artist, performer, and singer Katy Perry. My 10-year-old self always found inspiration in her charisma and creative perspective. Who she was really reflected through her work, and brought me to another place where everything made sense and felt right, and I aspired to do the same for others in my own way.

Institute: What are you currently working on?

I’m currently working on a photo book which includes my unreleased material and my writings.

Institute: Do you have an all-time favourite image?

An image by the photographer who first inspired me and my work, John Parvin, “sweet as blood red jam”

La Vie En Couleur Cover

Institute: What is your creative process?

My style usually carries a nostalgic and or eccentric vibe. I try to capture raw emotion through my images and bring the viewer to a world through my eyes.
Institute: What has been your proudest moment to date?
Photography wise, there is no specific date. What I’m proud of the most is inspiring others through my work.

Institute: What career path would you of taken if not photography?

I’m currently at university majoring in Psychology. I would be a psychologist if not a photographer.

Institute: What does 2018 hold for you?

Hopefully the release of my photo book, collaborations, and future publications. Meeting new creatives and growing. I’m always striving to create better content and to constantly be inspired and inspire.
